On Monday, we'll all gather here again to let dirt know that we are the boss of it - once a year. It can skulk in the cataracts for months - but on Spring Cleaning Day we'll see every smudge, speck and splatter.
Yes, the list is coming. Sixty-seven spring cleaning tasks. Some reasonable. But let's not worry about that yet.
You have the whole weekend before you'll be able to see how disgusting your light switch covers are.

Every April, our eyes go through a strange seasonal shift — a temporary spike in visual acuity that peaks on Spring Cleaning Day. For a few short weeks, we can suddenly see just how hideously grubby our house really is.

Ain't gonna happen. We'll be celebrating our upcoming vacation in Mexico with the friends we're going with (or packing) - leaving on Tuesday for a week. The mess will still be here when we return :)

Just what I needed this morning - exhausted from moving and lifting and tripping over 'stuff' in my garden. My nails are dirty, I got tick bit, pulled something that popped inside my thigh, lost 1 pound of sweat, gained it back while trying to convince myself to go back out there this morning and continue rejuvenating my garden. I can't move yet so here I am - enjoying the really fun puzzle and then reading - what the heck - do you really think I'm going to get up and clean the dirt, filthy dirty laundry, dirty prints on my shower curtain and CLEAN on top of preparing my garden? You must be done with yours and spring is making you crazy with needing to do work. Go take a chill pill and come back in about 2 weeks, then I'll join you. Right now I've found another puzzle that needs to be put back together. Thanks.
I host Book Club at my house on Monday afternoon! I hope I can get most of my spring cleaning done this weekend.
